e-Catalogues vs Paper catalogues

How concerned are you about our trees?

When you consider how many catalogues are created each year by catalogue retailers such as Sears, Avon, Lee Valley, Regal, Victoria Secret, Seed catalogues and many others, each churning out monthly, or periodical issues per year, that's a lot of paper. And then there's all those magazines at the grocery stores & news stands...all over the world!

Even with recycling and forest renewal programs, can it keep up to the ever increasing demand required by the paper versions? With internet shopping technology, this demand may even increase with small businesses being able to get more exposure and requests for their catalogues...just like us.

We agree the paper version is more friendly when we can curl up in a comfortable place and flip through the pages at will. We know that "habit" change is always uncomfortable and we want to resist... at first... but then we, and technology, learn to make it more comfortable, and then we change too.

We would like to convert to an e-catalogue version where you can either view it online, or download it to your computer where you can view it offline.

If you had the choice, which would you prefer?
