Digging the pond, installing water box, filter & liner.

This is the best picture to see the depth of the pond. The neat thing about the bottom level is that it will serve as a tunnel for the koi to hide.

After an immense amount of rain, a 1 week project turns into 2. Rocks finally start to go in.

Pond before plants.

Plants make it into the pond. Cannas, swamp hibiscus and purple elephants ear. Floaters include water lily and water poppy.

Patio surrounding the pond. Unfortunately, the mosquitos are so bad, we cannot enjoy it due to all the rain!
